This is a great carseat..but you can find it for cheaper at other websites. Graco retails it for 140. Why would you pay $50 more? Try chit chat baby...[...].

I'm not a fan of the pastel pink pink pink...for girls. But I do love this combination of hot pink and black... :) There is also a matching stroller. It's a little on the expensive side. I recommend getting the Graco Stroller Frame combined with this carseat. And if you find you are still in love with stroller when its time to turn baby around... go ahead and purchase at a later date.

This kit includes drivers, webcam software, and pass-through cable to connect the MobiCam monitor to your PC via USB.

An additional monthly subscription fee is required if you actually want to view your MobiCam remotely via the Web. They allow up to 2 hours viewing time per month, but with grandparents that live 7 hours away, 2 hours won't get them through a month. So, if you decide to get this, then pay the $ and allow grandparents to experience the child's life while they still can.

I began to worry when I noticed one of the requirements, as listed on their box, is a "steaming" internet connection. This shows a lack of attention to detail and poor quality assurance; I would have immediately put this thing back on the shelf and walked away after reading a typo like that on product packaging. How good could it really be if this is how they're marketing themselves? But, this was given to us as a gift; so, I tried it out. My fears worsened after I began to read the included manual - my 9-week old son could produce a better technical document than what they put out...I was embarrassed for them.

I installed the software on my desktop, and was able to get it working after some trials & tribulations with my firewall. However, the web cam software (mpeg4decoder.exe) crashes consistently, taking Windows Explorer down with it. I decided to try the software on my laptop to see if it worked any better on a different computer. Upon installation, Avira AntiVir identified the webcam software as a backdoor server (BDS/Hupigon.Gen).

Also, the software can only be installed on one computer. We would like to use it on our desktop on occasion, so I can use my laptop to access the internet and view my son when I'm away on business. We would also like to use it on the laptop downstairs, when my wife & I are both at home and viewing the MobiCam monitor downstairs, while baby sleeps upstairs.

In summary: buggy software needs to be fixed; questionable virus/backdoor distributed with their software; software should be allowed on multiple computers (e.g. iTunes); fix horrible writing & typos in your documentation and on your product packaging - show us you care about your product.

I like this kit.
I tried to install it on a dedicated laptop later and had license issues, so install it on the computer you will use.
But it worked through firewalls and all.
A few years ago I bought a wireless webcam and could not view it from outside.
This one works with no "issues".
You get 2 hours a month of internet free and I just signed up for the unlimited.
Its also password protected and works on the iphone (video) and blackberry (photos only) too.

I just tried to install the Internet Kit and the installer prompts to download files from the Mobi web site. When that was done, I ran the executable to install the files and found it to be infected with a virus from my scanner. Tried it again on a test pc with another virus scanner just to be sure it wasn't a false positive and sure enough, it is infected.

I have tried several of California Baby's products and I would call myself a huge fan of this line. The ingredients are indeed healing and non-allergenic which are extremely important to me, and these products have helped me clear up some moderate skin problems that both I and my baby have experienced.

This particular product, the "Calming Non-Talc" powder is a great idea. But the actual product itself is kind of clumpy. When you use any powder for the purpose of what you would use a "Talc" powder for (wicking moisture, cooling, chafe prevention), it needs to be fine so you can easily apply it and spread it over the area that needs treating. With this particular product by CB, I notice as I am spreading it over the treatment area that there are little clumps which either are a result of picking up moisture OR are a consequence of one of the ingredients. No matter, it still is irritating and annoying to drag lumpy bits of powder across angry skin.

Second, this is a very small package and the product comes out of it almost too easily. I feel like you don't get enough product for what you are paying and you wind up wasting product to get it out of the packaging.

That said, it does smell very nice and appears beneficial when applied to heat rash. We have just learned to sprinkle and leave the area alone instead of smoothing it out to avoid the lumpy drag effect.

I can't give my recommendation for this particular product. But I am extremely pleased with the calming diaper area spray, the calendula diaper cream, and the calming shampoo & body wash products. They have cured diaper rash problems for us, as well as allergic skin inflammations and dry cracked hands that are victims of frequent washing.

The picture is poor on the handheld device to say the least. When I connected to my 60" TV it was not much better and it was wavy! I bought this camera to use in my toddler's room at night. The night vision is awful. Can't see my son 10 feet from the camera!

The box misleads buyer into thinking you are buying a wonderful surveillance system that has motion detection that will text message you! You can view your child from your BlackBerry! Or you can monitor your children at home from your work computer! NO WHERE ON THE BOX DOES IT STATE THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR THESE FEATURES AND MUCH MORE!!

At night you can turn off the video monitor and just have sound. However there are two green lights on the front that never go off and light up my entire bedroom! I have quit using this system and will never buy another mobicam product. Huge waste of money!

As much as we love the Ergo Baby, this insert thing just frustrated us. It doesn't really fit very well and is hard to get in place. We watched the video over and over...

It's very floppy / flimsy and really doesn't provide any support for the babies head (which is why we thought it would be good to have)

We ended up using a lightweight fleece blanket about 2-1/2 foot square.

I don't think you need this. It's really only for the first month or two anyways....

If you've found this review helpful, please let me know!

I have a one year old baby who has had yeast problems nearly from birth. At one point she had angry, red yeast rashes in her diaper area, under her chin, in both armpits, and behind both ears. I took her to the doctor time and again and tried every anti-fungal and antibacterial cream they recommended. While some worked for a short time, none of them delivered lasting results. I was going crazy trying to solve this problem. I read that talc powder works really well and it does. Of course, even the product label talks about the inhalation risk to babies (not to mention the risk of ovarian cancer). I tried a cornstarch powder thinking I would get the benefit of powder without the risk of talc. Turns out cornstarch is a food source to yeast. Who knew? When I found this powder it was as a last resort. I loved that it was talc-free but still offered anti-fungal protection. After using this powder regularly my baby no longer has yeast rash. She is completely cleared up. Any flare ups are quickly taken care of by a thick coating of this powder. California Baby succeeded where every other prescription drug failed. I can't say enough about how much I love this product. Worth every penny!!!!

If you have a baby sling, the infant insert is not necessary. When my baby was small enough to need the insert for the Ergo I generally put him in the sling. By 10 weeks (long for his age, but average weight) he was able to use the Ergo without the insert. The one downside is that using the insert makes the Ergo less comfortable on your back...so if you use it don't be discouraged - it is really comfortable without it!
